Do any of you guys have one of these installed ? My intake tube has cracks around the corrugations. I carefully taped it up with black duct tape to stop air leaks but it needs to be replaced. I am thinking of getting one of those nice polished aluminium jobs from Mina.

I am not concerned about HP gains ; I just think it will look great

But as with any aftermarket part I am concerned about fit. Does it fit exactly ? are there any other modifications required ? If any of you have one and can comment it would be appreciated

 

I have an 06 xkr with the Mina air tube installed. It fits very well. The only hitch is that you must make sure that you get the 90 degree rubber hose portion installed all the way down on the SC intake other wise the tube will stick up into the hood insulation and can melt it. It looks very nice. Good Luck!

 

I had mine installed right at Mina a while ago. If you search you will probably find my posts as well as photos of the install. The car did feel a bit more responsive with the new intake tube, which makes sense since the airflow is a lot smoother. The tube looks great as well.
