Mirror Replacement at 32* - RESOLVED
Hello to all!
Well, I got the radio working in the car (see previous post) and now onto the rearview mirror.
I order and received an new mirror on eBay with the gel pack stuff that darkens it. I've read through all the posts on mirror replacement (Thanks Gus!) and it seem straight forward.
One question. It's 32 flippin' degrees here in southern Virginia. I currently don't have access to a garage (too full of crap). Is it too cold to change out the mirror and risk possibly cracking the windshield due to the cold?

It just slides down along the windshield. Pinch the bottom to remove the cover for the rain sensor and unplug it then do the cabin light assembly to get to the plug for the mirror. Then you can remove the mirror you may have to tap it with your hand. Start the car and warm it up 1st if you like. Shouldn't take more than an hour once you do it less than 20. If you get in a jam PM me I'm in Surry.
