MisFire codes of 301,302,303,304 at idle
To be on the safe side, since your timing was off on one side, my recommendation would be to buy or rent the cam locking tool and do the cam adjustments by the book.
I do not recommend this and do this at your own risk, but if you insist on proceeding without the tools, put the chain back in what you believe the correct orientation is, and put the cam covers back on temporarily to prevent oil splatter.
Then remove the fuel injection relay near the ECU.
Now crank the engine for a few seconds (it will not start due to no fuel). Stop cranking immediately if it does not sound normal. This will fill the tensioners with oil so they assume the proper tension. Now remove the cam covers again and make sure the flats are properly aligned now that the chains are under the correct tension.

I don't think so. The factory alignment tool clamps both cams with the flats aligned.
