The knock sensor could be good it might be seeing the misfires. Do the misfires first then clear the codes now that you have it documented and see if it comes back.

 

An AJ26 has 2 leads to the spark plug coil and a AJ27 has 4 leads to the spark plug coil. Tell us the one you have 2 wire or 4 wire.

 

hi gus i have a 4 wire, i have got coils and knock sensors being delivered so until then it will stay parked up.

 

I had changed one knock sensor in a parking lot without removing the intake and it was not so difficult however, be sure to have a magnet close by to recover falling tools or nuts. The most difficult part was fishing the new lead to the connector. I attached a string to the old and attached the new to it and was able to pull it to the connector.

will keep you all posted on the outcome, got the door speakers to sort out next no speakers working on either doors but dash speakers and woofer in back works.

 

***Update***Well today I fitted 3 coils and replaced knock sensors and the jag runs perfect now .
