would anyone on here be able to tell me where the 'most amplifier" is located in a 2007 Jaguar xk?
i know that its in the passenger footwell but what does it look like & is there a way to identify it?

Mind if I ask why you are looking for it?

I assume you are after the audio system amplifier. MOST is the serial communication network between the audio system components. Since it is the type of network I don't think there is an amplifier for it, but the regular audio amplifier would be connected to the MOST bus , thus might be considered a MOST type audio amp since it has that communication ability.

Since I have the older generation XK I can't offer a whole lot more help than that.

 

You should probably ask this question in the new XK forum. This is the forum for the older, sexier and prettier body style. I admire the 500+ horsepower of the new XKRs, but I prefer the look of the older ones. Don't get me wrong, if someone said "Hey... I'l trade you my 2009 XK for your 2003 XK8", I'd take the deal in a heartbeat. But then I'd go searching for a pre-2007 XK just to fiddle with. It would be awesome to have a 2009 XKR convertible and a 2005 XKR coupe.

I just noticed that the name of that forum is 2007+ XKR. Shouldn't it be "2007+ XK/XKR"?

 

Yeah, this forum description should probably change from "1997 and newer" to "1997 - 2006" to cut some confusion too.

The 2011 model does look nicer than the 07's, but they don't even come close to the older body style, IMO.
