I got into the car today, still a little dark, lights were set to OFF (I have the auto headlight option) and when I started the car the display said that my lights were off. I guess it does this happens on jags with the Auto headlight feature???

 

Yep, mine is the same. Judy the Jaguar is so helpful.

 

I would love this car if it came stripped with not all the bells and whistles that break. Just a stripped model with HP

 

I am pretty sure you can disable the auto lights feature with WDS along with most of the other options.

 

That is pretty funny. I'm going to have to try this now. I usually leave the headlights on auto.

 

Very true. I dislike having the car make the decisions as to when headlights need to be on and when wipers need to go on so I tend to leave those switches totally off.

Consequently when driving during the day if I happen to hit a shady spot or briefly go through an underpass, the "Lights are off" message pops up and then goes away when the car deems it is bright enough outside again.
