Is my 98 XK8 odb2 enabled? If so is the port on the driver’s side near the boot/fuel button the connection point and can anyone recommend a code scanner/reader diagnostic tool?

Yes.

The port is in recessed in the cutout at the bottom of the driver's knee bolster:

I use AutoEnginuity but it depends what you want to spend..........?

Just bought an Ancon 9125 for my 2001 XK8. I had the ABS Module rebuilt and I am going to try to clear the ABS and Traction lights still on.
