Now,and I've posted this many times, rear gear change for us six speed guys would be amazing. That would be the best bang for the buck.

Subcook30, thanks for checking back in, please provide more details so we all can understand and benefit from your mods.
Exhaust, what did you do? Remove anything or just replace the rear cans with Flowmasters? Which flowmaster did you use?
The chip has us all courious as this has been the subject of great debate. What chip did you get, link please to the manufacture. Where and how does it install, any codes generated, etc?
The K&N I's fairly straight forward but an installed pic would be nice.
Not asking you to prove anything just interested in what you did and the results..
Also some details about your car would be nice, year, mileage, etc.
Come on, details, we need details

Details...
Good Morning All,
So the filter is the high performance drop-in filter from K&N. The chip I purchased is from JDM which plugs into the ODB female connector. I've set the chip to maximum performance mode. The exhaust work consists of high flow cats, removed set of mufflers and flowmasters (40s) in the rear. The growl at take off from a stop is nothing short symphonic, commanding the attention of those in nearby vicinity.

You say removed set of mufflers.....did you remove the center box, pre-axle resonators and the rear mufflers or a combination of these?
What year is your cat and is it a XK8 or XKR? How many miles on that beast.
Have you tried unplugging the chip and see if there is any difference with just the intake and exhaust mods vs the chip and intake and exhaust mods? This comparison would be nice to know.
Thanks for your time...

More info
Look my goal by joining this forum was to share in the enthusiasm shared by fellow Jaguar owners. I'm unsure as to where the negativity derives from but the results I'm experiencing with the upgrades installed are real. I'm just excited to share with all those on this forum. I love my 97 XK8 and am proud to be among what I feel to be a privileged owner. My car turns more heads than anything else at the lights and while driving, makes me feel good inside.
