Was not try to put you down, but it is generally known that chips by themselves do not give the kind of HP numbers these companies hype about. I was dissing these companies and as RaceDiagnostics noted, before and after dyno's (on the exact same dyno) show the real story.

When I was younger, I did love the sound of an unleashed performance engine.

Enjoy your car.

Then performance gain or not, sounds like you're winning. If you are happy with the upgrades, then it was worthwhile.

Enjoy your car.

So called chips do not work on these cars, the cats, yes they work, K&N filter, no not really, a proper induction kit will help to a certain degree.

I have a customer that has the cats, the exhaust and the induction, on the dyno he was pulling 293 bhp which personally for an 18 year old car with 150k on the clock I thought was pretty damn good.........

I think we are all just looking for specifics. Not doubting the seat of the pants and noise faster feel. Most of us know that good exhaust work and some free breathing intake could get you in the neighborhood of 25HP. It's the chip we are doubting as no one has found any gain from any chip. Even a remap is questionable. Did you do any Dyno runs?
BTW welcome to the board. Don't be scared away. These guys and gals are great.
