I keep detailed records or all the work done on my cars. I just use a word processor and a folder for papers and warrantees. I usually keep old parts around for a while too just in case. But, I sold my last Jag to a guy who kept calling me back asking me questions about what had been done to the car when I had giiven him detailed records. He had lost them. I felt like telling him to give me the car back.
