Hi could anyone tell me if the bumper off a 2006 XK8 will fit on an early car,[1999]?

I fear ive made a big expensive mistake already lol

I like the look of the deeper bumper that's all I wanted to achieve, any help much appreciated.

I'm sure I've read about this being done but have no idea if modifications to brackets or bumper are necessary.

Yes, it fits. You'll just need a few extra washers and fill in the larger fender liner area

 

I'm pretty sure I remember Paragon Design making a post on this subject complete with photographs, some time ago. If you search the forums I'm sure you'll find it.
