Default My New Wheels

What do you think? Coventry Whitley, nothing radical but I've always liked the way the look on our cars. I decided to stay with the stock size because I like the comfort of the ride. These are after all GTs (Grand Tourers).

Wow Mark, they look awesome! Really compliments the lines of the car. I'm even more jealous than before. I really want to see your ride in person now.

I see you did add the door panel inserts and caps. How about some interior shots?

Great choice! A very tasteful addition to your vehicle - it doesn't look 'pimped out'.

If I ever change mine I'll take a look at these as an option

I did add the door panel inserts and caps but I'm not entirely pleased with it because the color is considerably darker the the rest of the wood. The reason is likely that the other wood has faded as the result of UV damage but I am uncertain what my next move will be. I did post some photos in an earlier post; you can see what I mean when you look at those photos.

I'm currently working on a project in Mississippi but next time (likely after the first of the year) that I'm back home I'll let you know. We can get together for lunch or something. Maybe interest some other DFW members?

Sounds great. My time now is booked as well, so first of the year works better for me as well. You know how to find me and I'm always hanging out in the forum.

Gotta say that I love my Double Fives also. But these are the first wheels that I've seen that I would like as a Excellent Second Choice.

They are made by Coventry, the model is Whitley. I also liked the Double Fives I had and looked for a long time before I found something I liked better. Then I looked even longer to find a good price. When I first saw these wheels, that were priced at $375 each; I bought them for $205 each. Isn't the Internet great!

I'm in Vicksburg. We should meet up some weekend. I'm going to be here for the next year. I'm a nuclear engineer and, along with a business partner, run a little nuclear engineering consulting company. The largest nuclear power plant in the US (2nd largest in the works) is in Port Gibson, about a half mile south of here. They have had a few problems and brought me in to help.
