Bought one of those 'Mangoose' clones & read several codes from modules.
Reading airbag module produces communication error tho for some reason (possible to fix somehow?)

All other codes cleared Ok except rare P1601 (TCM eeprom check?)

Code does not light amber/red light or display any messages. Car performs as it should be.

Previous owner stated that ECU was reprogrammed by swiss-chiptech but there is no printed evidence of this and afaik X100 ECU re-programming is not possible/snake oil(?).

Any more insight of P1601 code?
Car is MY1999 XKR w/Mercedes box
