Default Nav screen replacement

Does anyone know if there is a replacement screen that can diaplay vertial gauges via OBDII and also display a back up camera and a GPS and Sat Radio and... You know what I mean. They are made for boats, fine integrated systems including radar. PS: I don't need the radar for the car.

Garmin makes a replacement nav system (GVN 53) that uses the stock nav screen but gives you updated navigation and sat radio and can be connected to a backup camera. Contact forum member WhiteXKR for more details.

WhiteXKR also makes this harness:
XK8 / XKR Auxiliary Video for Nav. Screen - TheJagWrangler

Which lets you use the existing Nav screen and input 2 other devices. This was one of the first mods I did and use it with my phone (for GPS, watching movies while driving, etc).

See my write-up: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...raffic-49241/?

As mjlaris and ccfulton metioned above I have an adapter now that makes installation of the video much easier than as described in the above write-up.

The bad news is that the Garmin GVN-53 and HKS CAMP II are both now out of production. If you want to go this route you will need to hunt down used equipment.

Another way to get this functionality are with a carPC or by physcially emdedding an Android or Apple device behind the wood panel...but you are going to have to some system integration in either case.

There is this thread about replacing the Nav screen entirely with a small tablet. Fabrication required for this one too, but the results were pretty slick.
