Default Navigation not reading satellite

So thanks for the help ahead of time. I have 2006 xk8 convertable and the nav stopped pciking up satellites and number of satellites reads 0. Once in a while it will pick up the satellites but not often.

We had the changer removed and cant help but think that something came unplugged. Control/power cable plugs in to the motor for the antenna has an extra plug in the bundle of two. I am wondering if that needs to be plugged into anything or is that a for another accessory. If anyone has a pic that would be helpful and i will add one shortly. Thanks!

See the photos here of the navigation unit.: 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 Jaguar XK8 Navigation GPS Disc DVD Player Reader | eBay

The GPS antenna plugs into the square gray connector.
