Default Need help locating some grounds/connectors on 2001 XK8

Could some one tell me, better yet show me a picture of where this is located? It is where all the grounds for the coils come together.EM2AR EYELET (PAIR) – RIGHT HAND LEG / ENGINE COMPARTMENT, LEFT HAND ENCLOSURE

Thanks

Thanks
Em2 is in the engine management enclosure. Rear corner of engine bay under the lift off cover.
l can take a pic but my car is RHD, not sure if ground points change.

NO, that is NOT a ground (live battery voltage there) your diagram shows the EM2AR which is for LHD cars, (the bracketed location under that in diagram designates RHD location). The A puts it first eyelet on stud and R puts it right hand leg of twin leg eyelet.
It will be in your LH enclosure, stud on inside front surface pointing back toward brake booster.

On my RHD car, the stud you are looking for is directly below that relay box in the bottom right of your picture - I don't think its inside the actual engine management box with the ECU (which your hand is resting on).

Baxtor: surely the engine management compartment is on opposite sides depending on LHD or RHD, so that stud will also switch sides along with the fuses and relays (hence the bracketed name for it)? In other words its always in the engine management compartment, whichever side of the car it is.

I only know about where this is from poking around looking at the wiring when fault finding the lateral accelerometer on my CATs suspension. The accelerometer is inside the box with the ECU, the ground stud is outside the box but in the same compartment.

It does switch sides but according to the book on LHD the ground point is EM2AR and RHD it is EM1AR. These are not on the corresponding engine management sides but rather on the brake booster side of the vehicles.
EM2 is LH and EM1 is RH regardless of drive side.

Thank you for helping out here both of you. I will look in the left compartment and send a picture as soon as I can get to it.

Here's a shot of my car, mirrored vertically:

EM2 is LH and EM1 is RH regardless of drive side.
That makes sense - there are two engine management ground studs on either side of the car. What they are used for depends on whether its a LHD or RHD car, as the stud is either in the engine management compartment or the brake booster compartment. So on a LHD car EM2 is in the brake booster and on a RHD EM1 is in the brake booster compartment - so the stud I was looking at in the engine managment compartment was EM1 not the EM2 that the OP is looking for. Hopefully that isn't even more confusing for the OP, lol.
