2001 xk8 headgasket replacement
Getting prepared to change our head gaskets and expansion tank on 2001 xk8 coupe
I am doing this in Athens Greece in a few days
What tools are needed to make sure it is done correctly and any special instructions from all
your experience
That's going to keep you out of mischief for a while
I've attached the JTIS cylinder head R&R, but I recommend you download the 2nd edition Workshop Manual from the stickies here:

Do a page search on 'workshop'
You're going to need a timing kit, and something to break that wretched crank bolt free (replace with new). I don't see any cooling parts in your kit, so consider replacing any/all rubber and plastic components as part of the job - particularly the valley hoses & the thermostat tower while you have the top of the motor apart.
Does the car still have plastic tensioners?
