Default New 2003 XKR owner

Having owned a 1998 XK8 for a number of years, the notion struck me that I needed a 2003 XKR. After only 3 days in the drivers seat, my to do list continues to grow at a rapid rate. I am a realist and expected many issues with this beauty and am willing to deal with them at a time.
First question: while testing/exchanging driver and passenger seat modules, is it advisable to pull the fuses beforehand?
Any hello is greatly appreciate!
Charlie

When removing or installing any module I always disconnect the battery and wait a half hour. May be over kill but some modules do carry stored power.

Absolutely! This is exactly what the XKR is about; the concept of 'want' just doesn't begin to cover it!!!!
