Default New green Fuel for Classics

Good news. The UK refinery, Coryton, has introduced a new fuel designed to keep classics on the road. Our Jags have a future...!

Given that people lose their minds at the thought of using petrol that is 10% renewable, I would imagine they will go eight times crazier at the thought of using this stuff that is 80% renewable.

Agree with you, but we will all go crazy when our Governments start to price Fossil Fuels off the road....!

I think that started in the sixties, although the powers that be here were a good way behind the UK ...

Looks OK on paper, and they claim to have eliminated ethanol content (which is the main concern with old rubber), but it will be a low-volume product so I expect the cost will be pretty high - and that's not mentioned in the hyperbole.

I think it's £3 a litre or so last time I checked. But I bet if more and more people started to use it I could see prices come down a lot.
