I think that looks like quite a smart alternative to the existing setup. I do have a couple of thoughts though, one of which is how does it behave if the headlights are left on 'auto' and the lights turn on and off, for instance if you are in a tunnel or a heavily tree lined avenue on a gloomy day etc? Also, would they trigger any fault codes relating to blown bulbs etc.
They cost just under £250 over here which seems to be reasonable value for what seems to be a fairly clever bit of kit which looks good as well.

I do not know the technical details. wait for someone to install them then know if everything is ok.

these are the headlights installed! just beautiful!
apply these lights is relatively simple. You have to remove all brackets by OSRAM headlights, remove the parable to the OEM fog light of the car and insert the original rubber on the new lighthouse.
Are then used 2 screws 4 mm long 10 mm,metallic thickness with 6 mm hole diameter of about 5 mm high (for this purpose I used 2 dice with 6 mm hole). Finally you need 4 large washers with 4 mm hole ranging filed in the stirrups to be collected in plastic original lighthouse.
Tomorrow I'll make the electrical connections and finally I'll make a video with daytime running lights activated

Thanks for the video and I understand it may not be of the best quality but I'm confused as to the operation..
When you unlock the car the fog lights, I know they now have muti functions but from the video I can't distinguish between separate LED'S coming on, it just looks like one light, flash as the indicators do. So far so good....
Then the fogs lights come on, how did they come on? Did you turn them on or is it automatic when you turn the key on?
Then the fog lights go out, your halo lights come on and I hear the car start.
Next your low beams come on, no fog lights, and you demonstrate the turn signals. The fog light comes on when the respective turn signal comes on but I see no flashing of the fog light and the opposite fog light is off.
Next your fog light come on while your headlights are still on. Then the fog lights go out, next the head lights go out, with the halo's still on. Now it appears you turn on the four way flashers which also make the fog lights flash. The just the Halos are on, go out and you get out of the car.
In this video it appears all that's happening is the fog lights work with the turn signals. Am I missing something due to the video quality. I thought the fogDRL lights were supposed to be on at all times except when the lights were on.

So, let's start with the make one thing clear:
when the lights are lit in front of a lens, it has an overexposure of light and therefore does not distinguish the daylight that has a shape of a "C" and the fog light central rectangular. I've seen other videos on youtube and when you turn these lights all the cameras go overexposure and therefore we only see light without details.
In my video, it happens in this sequence:
1-opening car: along with the flashing arrows also daytime running lights
2 - turn on Power panel : automatically turn on the daytime running lights
3 - switch position lights: daytime running lights automatically turn off
4- power on low-beam headlamps
5- turn on arrows: with the lights on when you insert the arrows you turn on the fog light on the same side
6- turn on fog lights
7- turn on arrows Emergency: blink along with arrows also daytime running lights

Your code should be LJA5091AC headlight and as you can see there are exactly the 2 brackets like in my where to attack new lighthouse
But to be sure that someone must do like me and buy the kit without knowing exactly if it is compatible! but I love risk ........ :-)

I forgot an important detail. with these lights you can leave the light switch in "auto".
are normally turned on the LED daytime running lights. when you enter the gallery, automatically turn off the daytime running lights and turn on the low beam. At exit, again automatically, everything is as before. so in the evening.
was really a purchase spectacular, both for the aesthetics that for the functionality!
if you want know more info, contact: M.Luennemann@osram.de

I have those OSRAMs on my X100 !
They were easy to fit, but removing the old fogs was an absolute b!tch. The bumper had to come off, there's no bones about it. Luckily that was easy - remove the front undertray, disconnect the wiring for the fogs, then unbolt the bumper (three bolts either side, then seven along the top.
The bolts between foglamp and bumper are mated to brass inserts in the plastic. Mine had bonded to the brass, so the inserts just turned and turned. Had to cut them out without damaging the bumper plastic too much.
I made up my own L-brackets with scrap metal. That's easy enough, but note that on the right side of the car (driver's side on mine), there is very little clearance between the new OSRAM unit and the car's chassis metal - so the L-bracket needed to be just big enough and no more.
Wiring was very easy - one wire for each indicator, two earths, one IGN +ve, one permanent +ve, one fog lamp wire, one wire to the side or dipped beam.
Works a treat and looks nice. I have been playing with different DRL options for years (small round ones, large rectangular ones, etc), I think the OSRAMs are the best option. I also took the opportunity to do something interesting to the behind-grill area too :-) Additional spotlamps. I think a 1987 2.8 litre Ford Capri is in my future somewhere...
