Default new noise from left rear

So this rhythmic clacking noise, like metal rubbing against metal was coming from left rear. Lifted rear, rotated tire and nothing. Pads look great, no marks on rotor.

So I wiggle tire and I got movement, thought it might be tire loose but the rotor wiggles also.

I suspect bearings are shot.

Most likely the bearing and possibly the hub. If both the bearing and the hub need replacing, then I would also check the rotor (disc) for uneven wear. If the rotor also needs to be replaced then you need to replace them in pairs (right & left).

Has anyone DIY? Didi you get a local shop to press out the hub from carrier? Or is it simpler to buy an assembly?

How did you pull hub assembly from axle?

Is the carrier ever worn by the hub?

I had the same problem on my 2002XKR. Both the bearing and the hub have been replaced at different times. If the hub was shot, there would be scary handling issues (as I had twice) accompanying the "clackity clack." Most likely the bearing but obviously, while in the area, checking the hub is mandatory.

did you take the carrier to a local shop to remove and replace the bearing?

The shop that works on all of my cars replaced it. The hub however was harder to source and it was repaired a couple of times. But each time it bent after a short while, and I could tell as it felt like the rear end was wrapping around the front. The last time was about a month ago. This time it was replaced with a used one from a Jaguar dismantler, and all's been good since.
