I read all of the posts in the xk8 section that had the word "stereo" in them and found most of them to be older and I am looking to replace all of the factory goods asap if possible.

Head Unit: I haven't bought a new head unit in forever so I am way out of touch... Lost my latest Ipod so I was thinking of going with something with a built in hard drive? thoughts?

I do like bass - so keep that in mind with suggestions.

I would just like to replace everything and add a new amp. I never use stereo controls so that doesn't matter to me as well....

Can I get some good suggestions on what are some good options with some newer released technology?

Is there any how to videos on xk8 head unit and or speaker replacing? I searched but didn't find anything at all.

You may want to search YOU TUBE as I did . There is at least one on that shows how to dismantle the center c. Does your stock unit work? If so, i am looking to replace my bad unit with another stock. Thanks!

 

I'm getting ready to replace my stock radio with an aftermarket head unit. If you want mine, you can have it, just pay the postage. Let me know, I will be doing the replacement within the next month or so.
