Question no key-in or lights-on chimes

Hey guys it's been awhile since I've posted. My last project was installing a Bosch Intercooler pump to get rid of that useless factory unit.

Lately I have had a problem with the wife leaving the headlights on because there are no warning chimes anymore. Is there a fuse or a unit under the dash I have to replace. Or a hint something is going awry, like the clock stopped?

I noticed that on my car the enunciater would sometimes produce a 'chime' or a static half a*sed attempt at it. While under the hood one day, drivers's side, I noticed and opened the fuse box, and while checking to see if everything was seated, and no fuses blown, I found one of the tan relay modules, I think it was the one in the lower right corner closest to me, was almost completely unseated. I snapped it down tight, did not know what it went to at the time, and got in the car to see what changed. It was the chime, coming through loud and clear, no static or distortion as before and 'chimed' with the key in the ignition and door open, when the lights are left on, and also the seat belt 'bong chime' which I had never heard before, only chimes 3 times, all were working. I would check there, if it is not seated there you go, if it is seated, it may be blown, or need to be cleaned and re-seated; Good Luck

I found out that yes, the best thing is to leave the lights on Auto.

There is a Android sized device under the dash, I don't know the exact location; with a circuit that at times needs a wire resoldered. That is the fix, other than that the device needs to be replaced.

According to another mechanic, the device is in the steering column, buried somewhere. So now I'm completely confused. I don't know where to start. A bad wire, fuse, ignition switch, this sounder, or what.
