Default No light, at last (Seatbelt)

Been busy lately and have not started the Jaguar for a month or more.
Started right up, and had a bit of rattle up top, but no oil could have been in the chambers. New tensioners have been installed. That was not surprise, but the seat belt light did not flash 52. Been fighting that for a couple of years. Maybe it finally got in enough cycles to please the black box that controls it. I had cleaned every connection around the seat area over 2 years ago with no happiness, I learned to ignore it, and only cursed it once in a while when my eye caught it.
Oh, the only other dummy light, back lights not working, a big smack on the lens solved that. Need to check the bulb sockets. I thought smacking the lens was only for my Triumphs.
Had a nice drive, great cars, time to put the top up, nah, still some pretty days left.

Maybe the seatbelt warning bulb finally burnt out!

Fingers crossed for you, Wayne. Let's hope that pesky seat belt light finally completed enough drive cycles to shut off and stay off. Keep us posted....

Any chance you raised your seat recently? I noticed that with the seat in the fully lowered position the harness is really pinched.

I think that was the source of my 5-1 flash, only ever happened occasionally but almost always when my large MOT tester sat in the seat. I found that if the seat was raised a 1/2 inch the problem went away.

Steve, didn't move a thing, but that suggestion will be followed in the morning.
Thanks, hope it doesn't wake it up. LOL
Bladerunner919, now that would be nice, don't need it, as I feel very uncomfortable without one on.
