Unhappy No Stop Lights and No Backup Lights

Just failed inspection for my 2000 XK8 because of no stop nor backup lights. Bulbs are OK. Also, convertible and rear side windows won't go down. Could this all be related? Where should I begin to look? Also, last winter the interior of the car was moldy because mice had built a nest in the compartment that holds the fuel tank and water had collected there. Didn't notice until I brought the car out of storage. No sure where to begin to debug the problems. Could it be one of the computers in the car that go damaged.

All those functions are controlled by the Security and Locking Module which is located in the boot under the fuse box. It does sound like perhaps some of your wiring in that area has rodent damage - this is more likely than damage to the module itself.

Atorino, as far as rear lights go, possibly things could be corroded in the light circuit boards. Take them out and sand them and see if things improve, if not the there is a good thread about adding a ground to solve issues. As far as convertible rear windows idk I have a coupe. Good look buddy don’t give up!
