Default Noise in the bluetooth add-on

I've had a perfectly minor issue with alternator noise in the bluetooth addon from discount car stereo that only bothers me, not my wife, on my wife's car. Since I've been driving it more, I decided to put on the noise suppression module that I've had for quite a while. Unfortunately, there are no more brackets to be had, it appears (see below), so I made my own (see below). I didn't know exactly where it should be located since I've never seen one installed in an 01 or 02 car (in the engine compartment for earlier, supposedly behind the right headlamp in my MY). So, I put it behind the headlamp on convenient screws (see below).

I 3D printed it in black polycarbonate, should be good to engine temperatures. PM me for *.stl for anyone else who wants to print one.

Number 3 is unavailable. So...

... I designed and printed a new one...

... that I installed here, behind/under the right headlamp.

Dale, if your wife gets whine from Bluetooth not fm radio, suspect disconnect stereo wire. Nice folks there, but they've replaced my discount stereo wire assembly twice now. If you next start to lose 1 channel Bluetooth (swinging open wire at connector into cd changer) or you find telephone calls are not imaging dead center, maybe ask for a swap. Oi donr know who solders their cable connections but I'm seeing a trend here.

BTW they were always kind enough to send replacement cable without getting the defective one back. Nice - it keeps the wife in sound. Ttytt last time they didn't even ask for defective one back.

It should be dead quiet Dale.

Appreciate it, John.

For me, it was coming through system power, not radiated, not antenna, not grounds. With an external regulated supply, was completely quiet. With giant capacitor in the noise suppressor (22,000 uF) across the alternator, now quiet.

Frankly, this wasn't very noticeable in the first place...
