I have been asked to bring down an Xkr from ny to So. Florida next week.
Can anyone recomend some good streches of road with twists.
Hoping to stop in the Ashville NC and Gatlinburg TN area.

The Dragon is indeed spectacular.
Just be aware that Biketoberfest in Daytona runs Oct. 17 to 20. The Dragon is a rite of passage for many bikers, and can get clogged with bikes around this time. With the (often wet) leaves on the road this time of year, horizontal motorcycles are not uncommon.
Have a great trip whatever route you pick.

Autumn is by far the best season to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just be aware that it is typically packed with leaf-lookers this time of the year.....

I just got back from the Smokey Mountain National Forest, didn't have the Jag but drove the highways, Cherohala Skyway hwy 165 is another 40 miles not as many curves as the tail, but very scenic. It'll hook up with the tail at the bottom. Traffic was thin Monday and Tuesday but really started to get heavy Wednesday. Also 441 going thru the middle of the park from Gatllinburg to Cherokee is beautiful. The biggest problem was the facilities, feces everywhere from the government shutdown. Have fun hopefully they'll have it cleaned up.
