Default Obd readers

Hi all, XK8 2002 4.2.
I've needed to go to my local garage several times lately to have warning lights read & reset. Now thinking I should invest in my own diagnostic tool. Obviously many on eBay ECT, & fair play some sellers have answered to say their tool is not suitable. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced OBD reader that does resets as well?

If you have an Android Smart Phone ,then the Torque App works pretty good ( free to $4 for the Pro- worth the extra). Gives you all of the internal readings, can read and clear codes, and can even give you an extra set of real time gauges. Pair with cheap OBDII interface (ELM327) from Amazon or Ebay ( many other sources too), usually less than $10.

Default Code Reader

I bought a Autel 619 that is a tradtional plug in code reader. I needed a reader for ABS codes and Jaguar codes. It works where many code readers will only do OBD codes.

I have a Foxwell NT510 in the car, but for serious stuff i use my MongoosePro JLR cable, a laptop and a VM with Win 7 and SDD on it; that you can do full Jaguar shens with. For just resetting lights, the Foxwell works great.
