Mine, a 2002 XKR 4.0 liter, takes 7.75 quarts of oil, about 7.5 liters, which includes filling up the oil filter as much as I can without it spilling out during installation.

Thank you for the files, seems like i have the updated dipstick. I bought seven litres of oil as i on the euro car parts site it said the oil capacity was six and a half litres, i topped off with some 10/40 i had for the BMW .
