Default Oil cooler weeping suggestions

My 04 XKR has 15K miles. When I did my winter storage oil change I noticed some oil weeping on the cooler, cleaned the oil film off with solvent and drove it 20 minutes. While doing my winter checks a month later, I found some new oil "weeping" on the drivers side end of the tank all the way from the top to the bottom, not enough for drips.

The cooler hose itself is dry at the crimp, no stone hits to the cooler.

My question is: Is there a common failure such as the O-Ring seal between the cooler hose and the tank that normally goes bad? Has anyone else experienced this problem where no damage exists and the cooler hose is good?

The short answer is yes. There is an o ring where the hose meets the oil cooler. Replace them both since you are there anyways.

At $1.81 each it seems like a pretty cheap and simple fix other than possibly having to drop the cooler as the Transmission Cooler sits directly above the two lines without much wiggle room.
