Default Old wreck X100 😪

I was looking for a replacement wing mirror as my LHS does not have the retract option and I came across this on eBay. Obviously a no go but then I looked at the picture of the car below that. Iknow that there are much more important things going on in the world with wars and the bad economy and people starving etc but it made me feel quite upset to see a once thing of beauty sitting there and rotting away 😢

I know I am a bit sad and odd 🤣🤣

No, I don't think that you are weird to feel that way. The car was a thing of beauty at one time. I'm sure that it was some owner's dream car. The best thing that you can do is to use it's parts to fix your cherished car. Jags are all about the emotional attraction.

Take a look if you find suitable part from here : AutoReserve Jaguar Uk . I have had good experience w/them with smaller parts. They refused to send whole AJ26 engine to Finland

Riv.... thank you. . Yeah its the emotional attraction. Its sad to see that thing but it will live on in other X100's I am sure. Shame.... because the ice blue is a lovely colour. If I had the money I would offer 500 quid and take on a resto project. Nothing is beyond repair these days, just have to ring Fuzz Townsend and tell him my mum is dying of cancer, then bring the cameras and get it fixed in 3 weeks 😄🥰

I wholeheartedly agree. So many of these beautiful cars have a shameful end and it really is gut wrenching to see their demise....
