Going to list my custom Dorchester grey impellers at some point. They look great on black car but since they basically match the trim on most of the XK8's, I'd think they'd look good on most colors!!

Maybe it is just me but I have seen loads of different rims for a 1997 Jag XK8 and I do not think you can beat an original chrome set it just looks right and its original.

Most of the rims out there on a Jag either look like a door to a washing machine or make the car look like it wants to bounce up and down in a rap video..

I ended up getting lucky and came across a set of mint chrome XK8 rims and tires for $250 the guy selling them believe it or not had managed to get a 22" rim on the back and I think a 20" rim on the front so he says it looked like ***** he was happy and so was I; what an idiot.

Stick with the original and forget dustbin lid rims.

Factory 19" apollos are in my opinion the best looking wheel on an XK.

Straight swap right up to 2006 and later if you don't mind using adapters

I've read somewhere that wobble nuts can be used for our jags.
if thats true, we can easily use PCD 5/120?
there are ALOT of options out there with this spec

5x120 may fit even without wobble nuts, as the stud location is only 0.325mm different from where it would be with a true 5x120.65, and there should be a lot more clearance around the studs than that.

The most important thing is that you have the correct 73.9mm centrebore, as this is what actually locates and centres the wheel on the hub

5x120 will definitely work perfectly, but since our wheels are hub-centric the center bore measurement is critical... when I bought my wheels (Avante Garde 310) I had to have the center bore "drilled out" by about 2mm to get it to the proper size (and the manufacturer said there was no problem in doing so). If the bore is too large then you just need to use hub rings that will take up the gap...

Why go to all that trouble.

I took an assumption at matching the paint and darkening the lugs/centers to match.

Personally I think its way to much darkness. But I drive a "look at me officer" red one.

I loved my black rims. Actually they were metallic black. Once I painted my car metallic black walnut, I changed but until I had the whole car re sprayed in the new color, the cheapest fix was painting the wheels.
