0420 0783 1000 codes

 

The P0430 is pointing you to the O2 sensors or the Cat. The P0783 is a transmission code 3-4 or 4-3 gear load fault. The P1000 is a code that is a diagnostic monitor an item not to be concerned with at this time. Focus on the other two codes.

Gearbox might be due to bad O2 (or P0420 may be a bad cat etc).

It's an OK article but do check the Jaguar info for P0420 for your car - not that you've specified what it is. Some of that article won't apply, depending what you have...
