So just recently, the old engine light came on again. It’s like a trusted old friend that continues to visit. This time it was P1316 with the P030X misfire codes for cylinders 3,4,5 and 7. Being so completely random is a head scratcher. Ordinarily I look for things that are common when this happens but this kinda backs up to either a wiring issue or maybe even an ECU issue to figure out why the random cylinder misfire codes. Anyone else have this happen?

Definitely P1319? Not P1316 or some other?

 

Defintely one of those two but I will doublecheck whether it was a 16 or 19. Ya never know

It was / is P1316
I guess I saw the number and I did get that number previously on yet another engine check light.
Guess it sorta was stuck in my head.
Maybe a mod can change the title too

 

P1316 is relatively good news - it's documented in detail.

Go with what others have done & what the doc says
