Default The Part Load Breather Hose

Need Some Help On A 1997 xk8 How To Replace A The Part Load Breather Hose ? And Can Someone Tell Me What Wall Cause The Car To Stall When I shift To Drive And Reverse It Will Not Do It When It Is Cold But When It Is Hot Thank YOU

Hey Rip-

Why do you need to replace the part-load breather hose? Is it cracked or leaking? Otherwise, if the little hole from the cam cover is clear (as mentioned in another post from you on this subject earlier), the hose rarely needs to be replaced.

Yes the part-load breather hose Is cracked and leaking can that make it Stall When I shift To Drive And Reverse Thanks For Your Help

Someone else can chime in here, but I really don't think a cracked part-load breather tube is going to cause repeated stalls. It certainly might make the car run roughly, and the fuel trims will be raised to compensate for the additional air being sucked into the engine.

If the hose is cracked, you've got to replace it. But there's probably another issue causing the repeated stalls.

Have you gotten the OBDII codes read? Most auto-parts stores will read your diagnostic codes for free...once you have them, post them up here and the forum guys will be a lot more help to you.
