Default Passenger Seat-Back Control

I have a 2001 XK8 Coupe that the passenger front seat-back is stuck in one position and makes a clicking/grinding noise when I touch the button to lean the seat-back up or back. The manual release on the side of the seat-back works fine. I know there is an airbag in the seat-back, so I'm concerned about attempting to repair this myself. Any suggestions on who or where I should take the car for repairs?

My guess is something is jammed in the gear, maybe a coin? I've pulled my driver seat out of the car, laid it out on the garage floor (carpeted) then pulled back the seat back leather to mess with a connector issue on air bag...no problems at all. Disconnect battery, wait 10 min then pull the seat out. Inspect the gearing, if necessary, go into electrical schematics to power the seat controls and test-observe.

Thanks for the suggestions h20boy. I am visiting a local shop today to discuss the problem and see what their thoughts are. I'll post again to let everyone know what the problem was and the required fix.

I know this is a bit of a grave dig, but I must ask, where does one find the manual release to adjust the recline of the seat?

You can't adjust the recline angle manually, only release the backs to tilt them forward for access to the rear seat.
