passenger seat recline doesn't work

passenger seat recline doesn't work
Unfortunately my passenger seat is stuck in the fully reclined position and I can't get it to go forward. The head rests go up and down, the seat moves back and forth but not the seat back. Does anyone know if this is the motor which I think is located in the seat back, the seat control module or something less complicated. Thanks for any help on this one.

Please specify your vehicle type.
You can uplug the seat module from one side and plug in the other, see if it starts working again. This will tell you if module bad or motor. Could also be a chafed harness etc. But first plug in the module from other side.
