welcome home topaz!

BTW, bigvette, it appears the front bumper cover and/or bonnet has been removed for a little respray perhaps, if you take a few minutes you can adjust your bonnet hinges and get that panel matched up better on the front end...it took me probably an hour trial n error when I took mine off to get the new hood liner installed...didn't realize how much it could be off!

It's on the list.

Believe it or not, car has never had paint, so the mis-fit is from factory.

When you are looking at the car at a normal standing height, you don't see it. I had to take the picture to notice it.

Nice ride, but you need to change your name to "BIGJAGFREAK".

My friends have been calling me a Bigvettefreak for over 30 years. I have owned every year & model Corvette made from 1960 to 1995 until my back issues became so bad I could no longer get into a Corvette.

I have restored them and raced them, for over 40 years, they are a big part of my life.

Owning a Jag is new to me and so far a real joy, rides well, handles ok, looks sexy and has room to carry bags for a long trip.

But the Corvette will always be the one for me, fast, great handling and a no nonsence made in the USA muscle sport car.

"Bigvettefreak-w/aJag", I'll make the request to the admin for a manual change

Seats are rather comfortable, aren't they? Longer trips are actually very enjoyable, grand touring vehicle this truly is.

Ok Beg3yrs,

Now you've done it.

After seeing the picture on your reply, I am going to have to buy chrome wheels!!!! They look great on this color.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I am really enjoying the car and am looking forward to long road trips this coming summer with the top done with the breeze in the hair etc etc etc Ha ha ha !

Had an '03 x-type that color. While in for service I saw your exact car. Asked service writer for info about owner. I was going to buy it on the spot. As it turned out it was a new owner getting it the once over. Had to settle for by '98 BRG convert. I think I made a good second choice. Jack

You'll love it, with or without chrome wheels!

Be sure to check out Reverend Sam's videos as well as Gus' links. They'll help you in many of your maintenance projects. H2OBoy, MotorCarMan and many others are all great people to help you out.

Read all the 'stickys' as well. Lots of good reference material.

Was browsing eBay for Jaguar 'stuff'. Saw these wheels and remembered you mentioned a desire for the chrome revolver wheels.
