I've been talking to a guy that knows the owner of PIE. Said he would let me know so that the Jaguar owners could get in early. They are blowing out the last of these in case anyone is interested. The guy says that he may still have some with RCA as well.

 

I am not 100% sure, but do not think those will work in a Jag. I think those are meant for Alpine headunits that have an 'AUX' setting.

On the Jag there is no AUX setting. You would need to plug this in in place of the CD changer, and the headunit would be expecting a digital handshake from the CD changer which I do not think this adapter cable provides.

Now, if you friend has some PIE ALP AI-AUX adapters like these: P.I.E Aux Input Adapter For Alpine Auxiliary audio input adapter for Ai-Net system (Model ALP/AI-AUX) at Crutchfield.com we should snap them up because they do the proper handshake as well as allow the continued use of the CD changer ! In fact, I would consider buying a quantity of these and selling them on my website, because I am always getting requests for these.

 

Well, I wasn't 100% sure about it. I'm actually waiting on him to come up with the one you mentioned, but they haven't located whatever is left of them yet. Evidently, there is a room full of stuff they are cataloging and putting up on Amazon as they identify it. So, be on the lookout!
