Default Pirelli DOT code help

Hi folks.
As the title suggests I have a Pirelli P Zero DOT code question. The code in question is thus, DOT 93 Rx L971.
Now I don't believe these tyres are pre 2000 as the code seams to suggest as they are in excellent condition. I wondering of course if somebody can tell me with certainty what year this code relates to and how or why please?

Thanks in advance

Have a look on the other side of the tyre - the DOT age code may only be on one side.

Pics? that's an incomplete code. Should be XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, or maybe only 2 in the date group if pre 2000, but that's unlikely at this age. You sure it's not on the inside of the tire?

There should be a section that's embossed as in the photo below:

This shows the tyre was manufactured the third week of 2018/

The back side of the tire is the same? Can't be.

Exactly that - the pic posted by OP isn't a date code. If there's no code in an oval, it's pre-2000.

Begs the question, what year if it's pre 2000?

My XKR had a set of Pirelli PZeros on them, which looked like they were in excellent health, despite being 15+ years old. Given their likely age I changed them for a set of Falken Azenis FK510, which were a notable improvement.

If you can't find a date on them, maybe best to bite the bullet and invest in a new set.
