Question Pirelli Tire Options

Hello,

My tires are due for a change out in the rear.
I want to get wider tires this time around.
I still want to go with the Pirelli's.

Right now I have the 19in. Atlas's. I am currently running 255/40's (rear)

How wide can I go? 285/40's?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I would caution you on changing tire size to much. You might end up changing the suspension dynamics to your detriment.

285 X 35 would probably be better.
