If it is related to your broken pipe. You probably mean "cam cover"

No, cam cover is fine. Plastic cover was broken to begin with and then a couple of plastic posts snaped as I was taking it off

Ditto for me as well. I need the engine covers for both sides (4.0L, '99 MY). I initially thought my local mechanic had busted them but original photos from the selling dealer let the mechanic off the hook!

Did some searching a month back and found nothing. If anybody has a source, please let us know!

This part? #1 + #2? I think they sell them as a 'pair', as the price is identical for the single piece for the 4.2L...just bought a one a few weeks ago.

Found the '97 at Parts.com. - It doesn't show the same price as H2OBoy's image.

Try jaguarpartscenter.com. Telephone number is 800-5101401. You will not find their real identity on the web site but they are actually the Jag dealer in Merriam, Kansas, Aristocrat Motors. I found them very helpfull ( faxed me a copy of the parts list picture to make sure I was getting what I needed) and decent prices.

Mine is also a 2003. I also have swirl marks that really show up on the black paint.

Do the head rests move. If not there is a pretty simple fix, there is a TSB on this.

Strongly recomend that you do something about the soft top hydraulics if it has not already been done to avoid the green shower. I put in the LSI Controls pressure regulator.

I wonder why the right side is so much more expensive than the left? Odd!

Almost forgot, that interactive parts webpage is from Gaudin Jaguar, a site sponsor.

Right trim cover is mislabeled there (a.c hose), they are separate also it appears. I'd score the left side from the parts.com site linked by beg3yrs above, and search salvage for any right side cover needs. That's alot to pay for a piece of plastic...makes my $75 cover purchase not seem so bad.
