Default Play in half shafts

Hi, in the process of doing the wheel bearings so have the hub off the car. Would people recommend that I change the joints in the half shafts as a maintenance item....they look like there has been some leaks in the area and is this play normal?

If so is it as simple as removing the 4 bolts and then getting the joints pressed out?

any gotchas when removing the half shafts? I believe there is a spacer that you need to make sure is back on. Do you need to mark the way they are installed when removed ? Thanks in advance

Watching a video is not the same as being there but are you sure you have uni joint play? Most of what l saw was just normal backlash rotational movement in the output shaft.

not 100% sure it is play, it is rotational movement which i thought should be ok but thought better to be safe than sorry when all apart. There is a lot of dried grease around both joints. Can they be greased?

I can't see play on the UJ and the marks don't look like grease staining. Could be a diff seal issue causing that.

Yes they can, they each have a grease nipple with a protective rubber cap The Service Schedule requires all four U/Js should be greased every year/10k miles

Looks like a worn U-Joint to me. The U-Joints at the ends of the Half-Shafts have a grease fitting which is routinely missed during servicing.
Camber Shims are installed between the inner ends of the Half-Shaft and the Differential Flange.
