When i turn my heat on in my car it is warm coming out of the vent but buy the time it gets away it is cold again. Is there something i can do to make it hotter?

a good radiator flush perhaps, sounds to me more like a clogged heater core rather than a bad blend door.

prestone super flush works alright for a same day/same hour flush, the prestone super cleaner you have to leave in for a few days of driving, but also works pretty well.

just follow the directions on the back of the bottle and you should be set.

this might be obvious, but a proper temperature thermostat will make a difference.
