Have 97 jag xk8 It going into fail safe poor performance code trader tps sensor I can't find one I've already put in new throttle body computer gaugez fuel pump spark plugs I need directions on how to test tps and instructions on how to clean tps or if anyone has one or knows where I can get one or someone else says may be relay under glovebox please help

 

If you have already replaced the Throttle Body, the TPS is part of it on the pass side. If you have the same codes now as before, it is unlikely that the TPS is at fault.

Sometimes a missadjusted throttle cable can cause a TPS fault, make sure the throttle shaft rests against it's stop, left hand side, with minimal slack in the cable.
