Default tps sensor 99 xk8

Good day to all:

Yes I have that dreaded p0121. I have cleaned all connectors and made sure the connectors to the tps are really tight. Thought this was it but no. Seems when engine is warmed up and I am slacking off the throttle to come to a stop. Can shut car off and reset only to have it come back. My question is this. Has anyone out there cross referanced the jag tps sensor maybe to a ford part ?? These I am sure were not made just for Jag .They rebuild them so this part must be available somewhere. Anybody out there have some insight into this ?? If not I have to do some more double checking and then send off the tb for rebuild this winter

Tks Howard

I know of no cross reference between vehicles but that does not mean one does not exist. I know and had experienced the P0121 and have a little information on my page at XK TSB . I also have several TSB’s for the TB but one has expired for replacement. TSB 303-58, 303-s514 and service Action 514s,

The throttle is part of the ND fuel system so a Nippon Denso part might be available and compatible with the Jaguar throttles. The AJ26 and AJ27 are different.
