Default Plennum water drains

Hi Guys

I checked today to see if the rain water drains from the plenum are clear and not full of debris. There appear to be 4 drains, two under the air intake for the cabin air that exit each side of the gearbox, and two others, one in the corner where the hood/bonnet catches are, that drain through through to the wheel arch cavity. Water flows freely through all 4 drains, however it seems to collect at the bottom of the wings/fenders for the outer two drains, the hoses don't continue out through the bottom of the car. Is this normal ? Shouldn't the water be able to flow out onto the road, I can't see any holes down there at the bottom.
