My 2000 XK8 occasionally has a continuous popping/clicking noise in the front left when the car is moving. It sounds like it maybe on the engine side because it is not very loud. Does anyone experience this?

Have you checked your tyre for stones/nails etc?

 

Yes and there was nothing in tire. The sound is more speratic in rhythm, more like morse code in nature, not a steady pop every time the wheel makes a single revolution. If anything it is more of a pop then a click from something in the tire.
