Hi. I'm looking at an 03 XKR w/ 62k miles. Excellent service history. My non supercharged 06 has been great but not many miles yet. What are the potential problems for a well maintained 2 owner car XKR? There's the possible cooling hoses under the supercharger (octopus) replacement but it's a CA car. Feedback appreciated.

 

If it’s a 4.2, then the same things that are likely to go wrong on yours can also go wrong on that car:
octopus and valley hoses
front shock mounts
general old car things like suspension bushes, rubber hoses. Consumables mostly.


If it’s an R and the tires are in need of replacement, look for a brown stain in the driver’s seat.
