Power steering helper pump?
Has anyone got any pictures of something called a power steering helper pump?
Apparently it's on the steering rack, and is supposed to be included with a rebuilt rack, except in my case, it hasn't been.
A picture is worth a thousand words, as they say.
The only pump i know of is the power steering pump, which connects to the rack via the fluid lines, but is not part of the rack assembly.
I can't find anything in the JTIS or JEPC that mentions it, and i'm starting to tear my hair out over this car.

A bit more info:
Apparently there is a small ( about an inch and a half diameter) attachment/multiplug on the top of the rack near the u joint with the lower column that can be used to adjust steering weight, ie; the amount of power assistance.
This is the bit that was missing, but has been sent from the rack rebuilders and is now fitted to the car.
I still haven't been able to identify it through the JTIS, but XKRacer has still got the car, and he seems to be happy with the missing bit that has now turned up, so i may be able to get more info in the near future.

If you look at this ebay picture and use the zoom feature you will clearly see the assist control electrical plug- I am guessing that is what you were talking about.
I believe it lowers the power assist pressure at speed and increases assist when the car is stopped or moving slowly.

I've delayed answering your post dsnyder586 because i can't see the ebay picture.
But no matter, ill find it by crawling under my car when i get it back if necessary, just so i know what to look for in future.
Thank you fellas for your help.
